Kura Kaupapa Maaori o Ngaa Papaonekura

Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ngaa Papaonekura is currently a Satellite – Kura Teina to Te Kura Kaupapa Māori ā Rohe o Māngere. It has submitted establishment documents to become a Year 0 to 13 Kura Kaupapa Māori Aho Matua Aronga tahi, and will be located Papakura.

Our kura is part of the national body, Te Rūnanga nui o Ngā Kura Kaupapa Māori o Aotearoa, the guardians of Te Aho Matua. Te Reo Māori is the main language of instruction. We pride ourselves as the only Kura Kaupapa Māori in Papakura that provides a seamless pathway for the continuation of Kohanga Reo learners educated within the six Kōhanga Reo of the Papakura rohe.

Furthermore we are ideally placed to cater to and provide for the educational needs of whānau with primary school, middle school and secondary aged children fluent in Te Reo Māori; where students will get an education of a kind underpinned by Te Aho Matua that differs significantly from the education they would otherwise get at an ordinary state school.
